As you probably know available space in any environment whether residential or commercial is hard to come by these days. With the ever growing population it is no surprise there is progressive less and less space we have for use. At the same time what available space there is it comes at a price. For families this may mean needing to settle for a smaller home such as a 2 bedroom apartment. For businesses an office with a smaller floor space might have to do. With such spatial restrictions there is a need then to be more creative in using the space. Corners in any room are often difficult to utilize because of their awkward position. Hence corner shelves become perfect to alleviate this problem.

In a typical home there are a number of rooms in which the corners end up being underutilized to a high degree. One example is of the living room. A regular bookshelf may not end up flush against a corner of a wall. However if you got a specialized corner bookshelf the result will be different. Another room that could benefit from a corner shelving unit is the bathroom. If you have a small bathroom like I do then you`ll know that being cramp in it is not a good feeling at all. If I were you I would get a floating corner shelf which would simply hang on the corner of the wall.

The idea of a shelf is to make things organized and can be easily reached when needed. It is so good to arrange things to a shelf that has a style polished with true beauty in which you can`t see brackets bolts elbows or nails. Your house is going to look a lot more expensive and those visitors will be delighted to see how enchanted those shelves. That feeling of being inside a model house is what we want and living in a home that has the power to attract is reachable when you install floating shelves.

If you prefer a freestanding shelving system for your wall be sure it is sturdy enough to stand on its own or somehow secure it to the wall with cables or hooks. This safety precaution will ensure no one will be able to pull it over and securing your wall system will keep your breakables safe as well.

Voila! Place the brackets into the holes on the rails at the spots where you want the shelves set the shelves on top of the brackets and then fill them up. Everything won`t fit? Move the shelves around to give greater height when needed. Add some more brackets and shelves. That`s the beauty of adjustable shelving.

Not only can you find some good looking corners shelves that could possibly hold your stereo speakers but you can also find them in a floating shelf design. A floating shelf is just a shelf that attaches to the wall via a bracket that has two or three rods protruding outwards. The self simply slides onto the rods and then locks in from an access screw or hex nut located on the bottom of the shelf.
